This statement of Privacy applies to Sierra web sites , operated by Sierra Information Systems, Inc. ("Sierra").  The Statement covers data collection and usage of Sierra sites and services.

 Collection of Information:

Within the Sierra web site, you may be asked to provide personal information, such as e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number.  In some cases, demographic information may be also collected.  If you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through our sites  or other public online sites, this information may be collected and used by others.

As with most Internet Servers, information about your visit and computer software is automatically collected in our Log files, and may be shared with other Sierra Information Systems, Inc web sites.  This information includes  IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used for service measures, maintainance purposes, and to provide general statistics regarding use of our sites.

Use of your Personal Information:

Sierra does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.   The information that you provide when registering for services (such as e-mail, your name, and company address) will not be available for other customers and registrants on our web sites.  You may be contacted by Sierra from time to time, about  new offers that may be of interest to you. 

Sierra web sites and their service partners may collect your personal information in order to provide services.  Personally identifiable information can be used to inform and offer you new products and services. We may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of services.

If required to do so by law, Sierra will disclose your personal information, with or without notice.

Use of Cookies:

Cookies are used to help personalize your online experience.  A "cookie" is a file which contains information that may help identify a particular value for a web server.  This file is placed on your hard disk and it is unique.  Cookies do not run programs and they do not deliver viruses. 

Most common uses of cookies include storing information for use on subsequent visits. When you return to the same web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved. You can control use of cookies in this fashion,  by "accepting" or "declining" cookies. To disallow use of cookies,  simply modify your browser setting to decline cookies.

Use of Advertisement:

Online banner advertisements, and our customer's web site links,  are mostly maintained and displayed by Sierra; and some of the advertisements may reside on other advertising networks.   When a particular advertisement is selected by the visitor, the information regarding the sessions is stored for statistical purposes and transferred to the advertising network for further processing.  Sierra does not have any control of your session once access is transferred to another web site.

Third party advertising networks may utilize methods to recognize your computer and determine which ads are clicked. This information allows an ad network to deliver advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you.

Security

Your personal information is secure from unauthorized access or use.  Data that resides on our servers and provider's servers are declared protected from unauthorized access.  If  a credit card number is required to be transmitted, it is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
